Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are looking for a Payroll Lead with experience in both the US and Canada. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle and manage all aspects of the payroll cycle for 500+ employees
  • Ability to manage several payroll cycles across multiple companies and countries
  • Review 401K file transfers and other compliance payroll filings
  • Works closely with ADP payroll provide to resolve issues related to payments, reporting, adjustments, etc.
  • Responsible for creation and accuracy of monthly and annual reports (journal entries, earning reports, benefit reporting, etc.)
  • Responsible for annual audit schedules related to Worker’s Compensation, 401K and year-end financial audit
  • Audit all payroll tax information to ensure compliance with federal and/or local agencies
  • Maintain policies and procedures related to all aspects of payroll cycle.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources, tax laws and payroll functions and ensures related policies, controls and procedures are in compliance

 

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience processing payroll using ADP software, multi-state experience and international payroll (especially Canada)
  • Supervisory or managerial experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to employees at all levels
  • Strong problem solving skills

Please note:  Assessment testing may be required for this position.

 

The minimum salary for this position has been established at $52,300.00. We offer a casual work environment, comprehensive benefits plan, generous PTO, and a competitive compensation structure.
