    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    P2 is seeking a Contracts Administrator to report to the head of the legal department and work closely with the sales team, legal, and finance. This is a position where you will be able to provide value immediately, and make a positive impact on the organization. We are a small, close legal team that is looking for someone who will work alongside us to push the company forward to achieve its goals.

     

    This position will be responsible for all stages of the contract lifecycle.  The Contracts Administrator is responsible for administering templates, updating contract order forms and statements of work, triaging requests for redlines, minor negotiation and drafting of contract language, obtaining electronic signatures, contract distribution and enforcing the company’s contract process. This role entails interpreting contract language, validating legacy contracts, working with Renewals and Sales Ops teams, organizing playbook language, and communication with customer or procurement non-legal personnel.

     

    Qualifications Include:

    • 1-3 years’ experience in Contracts Administrator or procurement role, negotiating or administering on-premise and SaaS license agreements on the sell side of the business at a software and services organization
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work well as part of a global team
    • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
    • Understanding of software licensing and common contract negotiation issues
    • Ability to modify existing templates, implement new DocuSign templates, and take full ownership of contract workflow
    • Experience in contract and compliance review after signature, to ensure clean handoff to customer implementation and finance teams
    • Adapts easily in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong prioritization and time management skills
    • Works efficiently, independently and with minimal supervision
    • Onsite employee with very limited travel
