    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    You will be an integral part of the Development team; researching, designing and supporting enterprise solutions for the Oil & Gas industry. You will ensure that our solutions are designed with user experience, accuracy, testability and supportability in mind.  
    You will develop project specifications for oil and gas applications and work closely with Product Management, Software Development, QA, Support and Services to gather business requirements and create use cases. The successful candidate will facilitate problem resolutions for internal and external clients/ stakeholders.
    Your day-to-day work will consist of working closely with Product Management to research and write business requirement documents, working with developers and QA to answer questions, build data and research industry questions and use cases. You will also work a lot on your own researching industry requirements for new products and modules. You will play an integral role in the software development life cycle. You will get to work in a close knit product development and have a major impact on the product’s success in the market.


    Essential Duties:


    Business Analysis:

    • Leadership and ability to drive projects to completion for customer success
    • Writing and assisting Project Management with business use cases
    • Eliciting, translating, communication and organization of application requirements
    • Verification of requirements through business testing
    • Defining improvements to ERP applications and production systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
    • Managing and presenting application UI reviews and walk-throughs
    • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies



    • Designing and executing test plans for ERP applications
    • Recording and documenting results and compare to expected results
    • Detecting software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected
    • Maintaining Team Foundation Server (TFS) for tracking and documentation of software defects
    • Design new user interfaces, processes and services to enhance the software offerings as well as support them


    Qualifications Include:

    • Bachelor's degree or relevant commensurate experience required
    • 10 years of relevant professional experience in Oil and Gas Accounting 
    • Ability and drive to lead multiple projects with varying deadlines; proven experience leading change is required
    • Experience with Oil & Gas applications is required
    • Experience in software development life cycle
    • Experience in systems analysis, design and development
    • Ability to interact effectively within a small team and across other departments and products throughout the organization
    • Positive energy required. No energy vampires!
    • Ability and willingness to dig in and solve complex industry challenges
