    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    We are looking for a sharp, self-motivated, and personable individual who has a passion for turning their knowledge and experience in Oil & Gas Operations and Surface Equipment into technology-based solutions that lower costs (LOE) and increase production for P2’s customers.  Success for this position is measured in new customer acquisition, product adoption, customer satisfaction/retention, and developing/monetizing solution offerings.

    Successful candidates will have experience with the following tasks in their current role and/or previous roles:

    • Well performance analysis to ensure efficient and optimal production performance
    • Knowledge of processes, methods, and technology that support flowing and artificial lift, production optimization, waterflood, and/or chemical programs
    • Strong understanding of field related operations and technologies/systems (SCADA)
    • Experience with LOE evaluation/analysis and ability to identify levers to drive improvement
    • Ability to work collaboratively with industry personnel including engineers, superintendents, foremen, well techs, et al to architect solutions with P2’s software
    • Experience with Production software like P2 Merrick and similar solutions (i.e. Prodview, Avocet) at an O&G company where candidate architected solutions utilizing the data and software to positively impact Operations (cost savings, increase production, etc.)

    Essential Duties:

    • Provide subject matter expertise on a wide range of Oil & Gas Production and Operations subjects in a sales, service and product management capacity.
    • Be a team player with the sales organization to help create an expanding footprint of P2 Production Operations products
    • Drive growth in our customer base in geography
    • Integration of partners and services in key wins
    • Develop and present compelling value proposition to our prospects/customers via demonstrations.
    • Keep up with changes within the Upstream industry to drive direction in selling/messaging

    Qualifications Include:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related O&G Production / Operations field
    • The ideal candidate will have 3-8+ years of experience in production operations with an operator as a Field Production Engineer, Production Engineer, or Production Engineering Manager
    • Prior experience using P2 Merrick production or similar production solutions in their position as a Field Production Engineer, Production Engineer, or Production Engineering Manager
    • Ability to engage in consultative or advisory role with new startups or existing E&P companies
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
    • Working knowledge of production optimization concepts and applications.  Must be a self- starter and possess the ability to work independently
    • Must be a team player
    • Practical knowledge unconventional/conventional resource plays
    • Previous field experience is required
    • Fully understand the artificial lift components, application and operational conditions
    • Travel up to 50% of the time
    • Must have experience with an operator
    • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies and direction within the core domain
    • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff members
